PROFESSIONAL:

Debtor-creditor-bankruptcy, transportation, civil & business, collection, corporation, secured personal property transactions, and related fields of law, 1980-present; past-Member, SCCBA Debtor-Creditor-Bankruptcy Committee, and its Executive Committee while in San Jose; past-President, Gilroy-Morgan Hill Bar Assn. (twice); Member, Transportation Lawyers Assn., and past-Chair, Legislation Committee of Transportation Lawyers Assn.; I have argued cases with published decisions before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and before the U.S. Bankruptcy Appellate Panel for the Ninth Circuit.

 

LITIGATION PRACTICE-STATE AND FEDERAL COURTS:

For more than 36 years I have represented debtors, creditors, committees of creditors, and bankruptcy trustees and foreclosure trustees in State and federal courts, while representing carriers and their customers before State and federal courts and agencies.

Mineta International Institute for Surface Transportation Policy Studies, San Jose State University, Transportation Research Institute, Georgetown University and Library of Congress; candidate American Society of Transportation & Logistics. Best Research Paper Award from the National Industrial Traffic League in Omaha in 1997. Writings include, “ISTEA Reauthorization and the National Transportation Policy: Overlooked Externalities and Forgotten Felt Necessities,” 25 Transportation Law Journal pp. 87-et seq. (1997).
